PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical recording medium so that the edge of the surface of a film does not protrude from the edge of a sheet even when various external disturbances are combined worst in the manufacture of the medium, in the optical recording medium provided with the film containing an information signal part and the sheet for a light transmission layer constituted so that a laser beam used for recording and reproduction of an information signal can be transmitted therethrough. SOLUTION: Such an outside diameter dimension S of the sheet for the light transmission layer that the outside diameter dimension of the sheet obtained by subtracting the maximum deviation value B generated when the sheet and the film are stuck to each other from the outside diameter (S-C) of the sheet which is to be the minimum value by a dimensional deviation C in a stage for punching the sheet is equal to the substrate outside diameter (120.0+A) which is the maximum value by the dimensional deviation A generated when the substrate is formed or more is calculated and the sheet for the light transmission layer having the outside diameter dimension S obtained by the calculation and the film are stuck to each other to manufacture the optical recording medium. |
