<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute production management without considering any data specifications such as the data array sequence of product information (PDM data) in performing production management. SOLUTION: A PDM data file is stored with PDM data associated with products in various formats (data specifications). A first computer reads the PDM data file, and adds a tag to each item for each PDM data, and preserves the tagged data in an intermediate file. A second computer retrieves the intermediate file, and performs production management such as scheduling associated with the products according to the retrieved result. Thus, it is possible to perform data retrieval without considering any data specifications such as the data array sequence by converting the PDM data into the tagged data only once.</p> |
