<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipation construction that can cool a heat generating element which generates heat when a portable electronic device is operated even when the heat dissipation condition in the circumference of the device is bad. SOLUTION: The portable electronic device 1 is loaded with a heat dissipation member 10 connected to the heat generating element 8 and a heat storage member 11 attached to the member 10 isolatedly from the element 8. The heat dissipation member 10 is in contact with the internal wall surface of a case 12 and dissipates heat to the outdoor air from the surface of the case 12. Under a normal service condition, only the heat dissipation member 10 dissipates the heat. In a case where the heat dissipation condition in the circumference of the device 1 is bad, the heat storage member 11 absorbs the heat and dissipates the heat when the service condition becomes normal or the operation of the device 1 is stopped.</p> |
