PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that allows a user to save time and labor for finishing a scanner input image and an original file document by the user itself. SOLUTION: The image forming system is configured such that one or more arithmetic processing apparatuses, one or more image readers, and one or more image forming devices are respectively connected via a communication medium in a data communication available way, the image forming device can form an image according to a print instruction from the arithmetic processing apparatus and the image reader, and can form composite images of both data in response to a request from the arithmetic processing apparatus or the image reader.
