PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable magneto-optical disk camera, which is miniaturized, improves a holding property and reduces an operational defect caused by disturbance such as vibration, a flaw or damage caused by contact with a magneto-optical disk. SOLUTION: By making the grip part of a main body of camera have projecting expansion, the holding property is improved when a user has the main body of camera, and there is an effect in the prevention of camera shake. Further, by locating the magnetic head unit of a magneto-optical disk device inside the projecting expansion of this grip part, a distance between the grip part and the magneto-optical disk can be shortened, a rotary moment caused by camera shake is reduced and the operational defect, flaw or damage on the magneto-optical disk can be reduced.
