PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of sensitivity or the incorrect rocking of a focus coil due to the magnetic flux leaked from a magnet in an optical pickup. SOLUTION: Yokes 12 are arranged on back surfaces of the magnets 10, 11 disposed to face oppositely, and an erected part 12a is formed by erecting a part of the yokes 12 so as to surround the focus coil 14, and a cover 16 is provided so as to abut on the yoke which is arranged on the back surface of the magnet 11, and the erected part 12a. The magnetic flux leaked from the magnet 11 is confined in a closed magnetic circuit formed with the cover 16, the yokes 12 and the erected part 12a, then the generation of the driving force in the reverse direction due to the leaked magnetic flux is prevented.
