PURPOSE: A waste gate valve and a valve stay for a turbo charger are provided to prevent deterioration of boost pressure during the early stage of diesel engine operation, by reducing abrasion through the increase of the initial contact area between the waste gate valve and valve stay. CONSTITUTION: A waste gate valve(10) and a valve stay(20) are arranged to make surface contact with each other through a surface contact portion(60). The surface contact portion of the valve stay is surface-treated to the degree of CO.2 corresponding to the radius of the round portion of the waste gate valve.
