PURPOSE: A device for controlling a movement of a home automation system is provided to extend a delay time set in a home appliance when a user execution command is received to move other home appliance while a transmitting command remains in the home appliance, and to transmit the user execution command to the corresponding home appliance, thereby preventing more than two home appliances from being simultaneously moved. CONSTITUTION: A user sets an execution command for operating home appliances(10A,10B,10K) through a user interface terminal(40), and transmits the set user execution command to a gateway processor(20) through the Internet(30). The gateway processor(20) interprets the user execution command, and transmits data generated by attaching an execution command code to an ID code of a home appliance to be operated to the corresponding home appliance through a power line modem. The gateway processor(20) recognizes states of the home appliances(10A,10B,10K). If the user execution command for other home appliance is received while the home appliances(10A,10B,10K) are already operated and the execution command to be transmitted to the home appliances(10A,10B,10K) still remains, the gateway processor(20) transmits the user execution command in a standby mode without transmitting the user execution command to the other home appliance, delays the command for a certain time, and transmits the received user execution command to the other home appliance.
