Ionic conductive solid electrolyte comprises a composite compound containing a tungstic and/or molybdic acid compound, polyvinyl alcohol, and water. An Independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an ionic conductive solid electrolyte, which comprises: (1) making an aqueous solution dissolving an alkaline salt of a tungstic and/or molybdic acid and polyvinyl alcohol; (2) neutralizing the aqueous solution by an acid; (3) removing water as a solvent; and (4) removing any unnecessary salt product by the neutralization.
