The swivel mounted front wheels (1) are used for steering the wheelchair and are joined to the fork axles (3) located at the lower ends of telescopic bars assembled of two segments (4, 5). The inner bar (4), holding the fork (3), can be vertically moved inside an outer bar (5) and secured with a bolt (6) guided through openings (10) in the outer (5) and the inner bar (4) in order to adjust the height of the seat area to the size of the user in particular in the case of the wheelchair being only temporarily required. |
