The invention concerns a liposuction apparatus (1) comprising in combination a tubular cannula (3) perforated at its distal end (18) with one or several suction orifices (24) and connected by its proximal end (10) to a suction source (14) communicating with said orifices, and a handpiece (2) delivering a pressurized jet of working liquid (4). The handpiece delivers the pressurized liquid by means of a conduit emerging through an ejection orifice which, when the cannula is mounted on the handpiece, is located opposite an ejection orifice of the cannula arranged at its distal end. The invention also concerns a liposuction method using said apparatus. Said invention is of interest to manufacturers and users of surgical equipment.
