摘要 <p>A bearing device for supporting a pinion shaft rotatably supporting with respect to a case. The bearing device has a first inclined-contact rolling bearing arranged on the outer periphery, on the side of the connection flange, of the pinion shaft and a second inclined-contact rolling bearing formed by an angular ball bearing arranged on the outer periphery, on the side of the pinion gear, of the pinion shaft. The lines of action of the first and second inclined-contact rolling bearings intersect at the outer diameter side. Further, the end portion, located on the side of the connection flange, of the first inclined-contact rolling bearing and the end portion, on the side of the pinion gear, of the second inclined-contact rolling bearing are sealed with sealing members, and the sealed space between both sealing members is filled with grease. The first and second inclined-contact rolling bearings are preloaded by connecting the connection flange to the pinion gear.</p>
