PURPOSE: A method is provided to reduce contact resistances and achieve improved charging performance by attaching a conductive tape to a panel prior to the formation of a coating film on the panel. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step of attaching a conductive tape containing a conductive material on a panel of a cathode ray tube which has passed grinding and washing processes; a step of forming a coating film for charging and reflection prevention on the outer surface of the panel through a spin method or a physical deposition method; and a step of baking the cathode ray tube having the coating film formed thereon, in the furnace having a temperature of 150 to 220 Deg.C.
