The invention relates to a universal device (1) for fixing an accessory onto a support formed by a clamp having two articulated jaws (2,3), characterized in that the articulation is laterally offset in relation to the median plane and that the jaws have cavities for receiving a ball and socket joint (4), whereby said cavities are disposed on the other side of the median transversal plane and the device comprises clamping means whereby the tips of the jaws are brought together and rear parts of the jaws bearing said cavities are clamped to the ball and socket joint, said clamping means being disposed between the articulating means and the cavities for receiving the ball and socket joint (3). The invention also relates to a modular system using such a fixing device. |
