The membrane valve comprises at least two air chambers (21,22) each with a connector (31,32) and air inlet opening (41,42), with a membrane (51,52) in between. A channel (6) is provided in the wall between the upper air chamber and lower air inlet opening, and the upper membrane (51) seals full-faced, so that with opening and closing of a solenoid valve on the upper air chamber the upper and lower membranes can react simultaneously without the delays which characterize current designs.
