The p-type metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) transistors (11a,11b,21a,21b,31a,31b,41a,41b), each having polycrystalline semiconductor, form respective transistor pairs (11,21,31,41) defining a polycrystalline semiconductor layer having Y-shaped configuration. The drain current and gate potential of each transistor are compared to determine a binary logic that is used as unique identification code.
