The balloon (1000), made from inelastic material, is shaped so that, on inflation via its neck (1003) at the target site in a patient's body, it creates within the tissues a space of the required shape. The distal end of the balloon has a pair of horn-like shapes. The horns initially lie inverted within the balloon (1002) when it is deflated, but extend outwardly (1001) on inflation. |
