<p>The present invention relates to a vascular prosthesis containing an active substance that has the capacity to stimulate the ingrowth of vascular cells, into the prosthesis. The present invention further relates to a method for the treatment of a vascular prosthesis, wherein the prosthesis is provided with an active substance capable of locally inducing the ingrowth of vascular cells, into the prosthesis material. Thus, the connection between vessel and prosthesis can be improved.</p> |
