The invention aims at providing a simplified and cost-effective production method of a ball joint (1) embodied with a housing (2) having a ring part (3) and a bearing shell (5) comprising the ball (6). This is essentially achieved in that the bearing shell (5) has a laterally projecting collar (8) on the side (11) that is open towards the ball pivot (7), the outer diameter (9) of said collar being the same as or bigger than the inner diameter (10) of the corresponding opening (12) of the ring part (3). |
