A heat sink of which cooling effect is excellent and which can prevent the decline of cooling quality due to the dust is provided. The heat sink comprises a box-like body attached to heat dissipating surface of heat dissipating element, a separation board separating the box-like body to upper and lower part, a number of side separation boards dividing the lower part into several areas, nozzle parts inserted to the side separation boards parallel to attaching surface, pin-like fins made at the bottom face in the several areas divided by the side separation boards and a air carrying means provided at upper area formed by the separation board for supplying cooling air to fins through the nozzle part.
