<p>A process for producing a polyether polymer which comprises polymerizing a monomer having an oxirane group in the presence of a Lewis base containing no active hydrogen, such as a nitrile compound, cyclic ether compound, or ester compound; and a polyether polymer obtained by the process. Thus, a polyether polymer reduced in the content of crosslinked components is obtained without lowering activity in polymerization.</p> |
