The cooling unit (10) for the bottom seams of top open bags made from a plastic film web has cooling elements (11), which at least during the transporting from one welding station for especially the bottom seam of a tube section to the next processing station which may be an opening station along a predetermined path, rotate with the end section having the welded seam. The cooling elements of the cooling unit are transportable by means of a revolving conveyor which is driven in the cycle of filling machine. An independent claim is included for a welding unit for sealing plastic bags. |
