A bobbin case rests on a spindle with a series of bush supports at axial intervals. The first support (6) has a number of shoulders engaging with the spindle. The support (6) esp. has profiles (11) which engage with and slide with respect to the bush (5) interface in a form-fit. The spindle base has a conical shoulder (7) supporting the bush (5) base. The profiles (14) are elongated grooves which engage with matching ridges. Irrespective of the number of ridges, the unit has three grooves. The tip of each ridge is gabled (15).
