<p>An optical disk recording device (1) comprises a system control unit (14) which determines whether main information and sub information superposed on the main information have been recorded correctly. If any defective area is detected, the main information, the sub information, or the main information and the sub information are recorded again in an alternative area. The unit registers in a defect control area of an optical disk, information for correlating the defective area with the alternative area having the defective area re-arranged therein.</p> |
