The lubricating device of a self-lubricating slide track has oil storage reservoirs (4) fitted on the two sides of a sliding component (9) and each with a housing in which is located an element (3) containing oil. The aforesaid element does not touch the roll surface of the track (10). The two ends of the oil reservoir are open. The lubricating oil in the element can be transferred to the slide track, while the oil element is transported by a lifting action in order to achieve a lubricating action.
