<p>A method and apparatus for crown covering beverages cans and the like comprising an input coveyor for introducing filled beverage cans and the like into a crown covering area, a crown covering assembly having a pick-up and crimping assembly that releases corrugated aluminum crown cover on top of said beverage cans and crimping said crown cover against the lower portion of the rim of said beverage cans, and an output conveyor transferring said crown covered beverage cans to the packaging area.</p> |
