<p>A computer including a plurality of processors having a cache memory. A spin weight detecting unit of the processor gives an instruction to monito a variable which is a condition to end a spin weight when it detects execution of a spin weight instruction, and then changes the operating state of the processor. A value change detecting unit of the cache memory monitors the variable specified by the spin weight detecting unit and notifies the processor of the value change when it detects that the variable has been changed to return the operating state to the previous one.</p> |
