A self-adhesive carrier material (I) comprises a base layer and geometrically shaped particles embedded at right angles in the layer. A carrier material is claimed, which is self-adhesive on one or both sides. The self-adhesive components of the carrier are in the form of geometrically shaped particles (21), part of which are embedded at right angles in a base layer (1).
