<p>A method of continuously stripping volatile substances from a dispersion of polymer particles which comprises: blowing an inert gas into the polymer particle dispersion to cause the volatile substances to accompany the inert gas and thereby strip the volatile substances from the polymer particle dispersion; removing the volatile substances from the volatile-substance-containing gas mixture resulting from the stripping; and circulating the inert gas purified by the removal of the volatile substances and blowing it into the polymer particle dispersion. Also provided is a process for producing a toner which employs the stripping method.</p> |
