<p>A honeycomb structural body forming ferrule and a method of manufacturing the ferrule, the honeycomb structural body forming ferrule comprising a ferrule base body having a coating layer formed thereon and having slits of specified widths formed therein, the coating layer further comprising a substrate layer of 10 to 100 μm in thickness and a surface layer of 1 to 30 μm in thickness to provide the slits of 30 to 200 μm in width, the substrate layer further comprising a metal layer having no oxides mixed therewith, whereby a thin wall honeycomb structural body of 30 to 200 μm in wall thickness can be formed, the coating layer can be prevented from being damaged, and an excellent durability can be provided to the honeycomb structural body forming ferrule.</p> |
