Each unit of the shelving system (10) is assembled of a number of shelves (15) with holes at the corner and four ropes (16) guided through the holes and hung to rings (22) fixed to the ceiling (14) of the room (11). The shelves (15) are secured by screws inserted horizontally into the sides (21) of the shelves (15) and guided through the rope (16) into the inner board (15). In a second version the ropes (16) are fixed to the ceiling (14) as well as to the floor (12) of a room (11).
