The mechanism has two motors (28, 29), which are connected to one of the eccentric weights .One eccentric weight (50) is rotatably supported within the housing (46) and the other (52) is coaxially rotatable with the previous eccentric weight. One of the motors is operable to change a phase difference between the eccentric weights to change the vibration amplitude. An Independent claim is also included for a method of adjusting amplitude of a vibratory mechanism.
