CAR TIRE, AND TIRE INFORMATION RECOGNITION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car tire and a tire information recognition system which saves the tire checking work, and enables the smooth traffic during the winter time tire regulation. SOLUTION: The car tire is provided with a transponder 9 responding to a question signal from the outside, and the data on the category of a tread pattern is written in the transponder 9. The tire information recognition system comprises a transmission unit 12 to transmit the question signal to the transponder 9 of the car tire, a reception unit 13 to receive the data signal from the transponder 9, and a tire information recognition unit 14 to recognize the category of the tread pattern based on the data signal.
