PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim width measuring device measuring the trim width of a hexagonal V-belt having a trim position with a belt maximum width in an expanded rubber layer, and a trim height measuring method using it. SOLUTION: In the trim width measuring device 1, the trim width is measured by holding the trim position (a belt maximum width position provided by connecting points P1 and P2) of the V-belt 3 between a recessed part (the angle change point P1) of a gauge head 1L and a recessed part (the angle change point P2) of a gauge head 1R facing each other and forming a taper part and an inverted taper part. In the method, the trim width is measured by the trim width measuring device 1, and at the same time, an upper width is measured by an upper width measuring device 2 and a trim height is measured on the basis of a belt angleα.
