PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade rubber which can give good wiping performance and noise-preventing performances to both a glass rendered water- repellent and a clean glass and also prevents poor wiping due to ice-deposition in a cold district. SOLUTION: The wiper blade rubber has a coating film on both sides of the lip section of the rubber, the coating film comprising a granular solid lubricant, a binder and a water-repellency imparting agent, the binder having an elastic modulus (0.5% modulus) of 1 MPa or more and a breaking extention of 1% or more.
