PURPOSE: Structure for preventing a cowl box of a vehicle from being pushed is provided to prevent the cowl box from being deformed toward the room of the cowl box while obstructing an engine coming in, in case of a head-on collision or 40%-offset collision by reinforcing the joining portion of side inner and outer panels. CONSTITUTION: Structure for preventing a cowl box of a vehicle from being pushed comprises a cowl-inner rear panel(2) constituting the cowl box and facing the room of the vehicle; side inner and outer panels(1,3) welded and joined at the bent-up end portion of the cowl-inner rear panel; and a gusset plate(5) attached to the bent-up portions formed by the panels. The side inner and outer panels form closed sections to constitute a door hinge portion to the lower part of an A-pillar(P) of the vehicle. The edge portion formed by the side inner and outer panels is doubly reinforced by the joining portion of the panels and by the gusset plate and therefore, the cowl box is prevented from being pushed toward the room of the cowl box.
