PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous dispersion which has extremely excellent storage stability, and besides, an excellent performance balance of adhesion, alkali resistance, organic solvent resistance, moisture resistance, weather resistance, (hot) water resistance, stain resistance, and the like, and which can form a coating having transparence and high hardness and is useful for a coating agent. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion is obtained by a hydrolysis condensation reaction and a radical polymerization in an emulsion state of a mixture comprising (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of an organosilane, a hydrolyzate and a condensate of the organosilane, (B) a fluorine-containing radical polymerizable vinyl monomer, and (C) another radical polymerizable vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the (B) component.
