PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict range switching and to positively grasp the circuit status of a hydraulic controller. SOLUTION: This shift detection device comprises a position sensor 3 for detecting a displacement of a manual valve 2 and outputting an analog signal, an on-transmission-control-module 5 memory for storing positional information by making the analog signal meet the position of the manual valve, and an on-transmission-control-module position determination means for determining the position of the manual valve by comparing an output signal of the position sensor with positional information read from the memory. The position determination means determines a signal of the position sensor at the detection of an oil pressure output as an oil pressure generating position and writes the positional information in the memory. Thus, the oil pressure generating position and position determination are matched with each other, thereby improving garage shift shock or the like. |
