PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal load elastic support device in a bridge function separating bearing capable of providing requested functions, facilitating a structure, reducing a size, and suppressing a production cost. SOLUTION: This horizontal load elastic support device 1 is installed between an upper structure 2 and a lower structure 3, and supports only a horizontal load without supporting a vertical load. The support device comprises an upper shoe 4 fixed to the lower surface of the upper structure 2 and an elastic shoe 5 fixed to the upper surface of the lower structure 3 and having, at an upper part, a flange plate 8 disposed opposite to the upper shoe 4 apart a specified dimension d in vertical direction. Key holes 7 and 12 are formed at the center parts of the upper shoe 4 and the flange plate 8, shearing keys 13 allowing the relative rotation of the flange plate 8 to the upper shoe 4 in vertical direction are fitted into these key holes 7 and 12. The outer periphery of the flange plate 8 is fixed to the upper shoe 4 with a bolt 14 allowing the relative rotation of the flange plate to the upper shoe 4 in vertical direction. |
