PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-based ink excellent in jetting stability and having sufficient jetting speed in high frequency printing and imparting high printing concentration to printed matters. SOLUTION: This water-based ink comprises water dispersion of polymer particles obtained by adding water-insoluble coloring agent to a slightly water- soluble polymer having an ionic group. The ink has 0.01-2 wt.% total content of a water-soluble polymer content and a self-dispersing polymer content in the water-based ink. |
