PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the set-up operations prior to print output an image i.e., to minimize the effect due to operation preparing processes and to quickly start the print output in a printing controller which is used to control the print output of an image onto a sheet of paper. SOLUTION: In an image forming means, an image outputting onto a sheet of paper is conducted by employing any one of a plurality of speed modes. Among these modes, one is made into a dedicated mode for black and white images and other speed modes are used for color image printings. While instructing the operation preparing processes for an image outputting (S101), switching is conducted to switch the instruction contents to be given to the means for operation preparing processes in the black and white image dedicated speed mode and operation preparing processes in color image corresponding speed modes (S102 to S105). |
