PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin an outer diameter of a housing (a fitting to a cylinder head) 20 and sufficiently secure an area of a sheet face 26 to the cylinder head even when an inner diameter is provided at the same size as a conventional one. SOLUTION: A rear part of a metal outer cylinder 12 fixed with a ceramic heater 2 is pressed and fixed in a press-in part 24b formed nearer to a tip 20a of an internal hole 24 of the housing 20. In the metal outer cylinder 12, a portion inserted in the housing 20 has a large diameter 12b, and a portion 12a holding the ceramic heater 2 and protruding outside has a small diameter. In the internal hole 24 of the housing 20, an opening 24e is diametrally smaller than the press-in part 24b, and a radial width of the sheet face 26 formed in a tip face of the housing is large.
