PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing a carrying belt, which is already cut at a long size and bulky to house it in an irregular shape and heavy to handle, with the light work, and to provide a simple and low-cost winding device. SOLUTION: After cutting a carrying belt B at the predetermined length L, the carrying belt is folded into two at a central part in the longitudinal direction thereof, and the folding part 16 is wrapped around one of winding shafts 21, and the carrying belt is wound by the two winding shafts 21 to form a wound stock in the overlapped condition, and both ends of the carrying belt B are exposed in the periphery thereof to be easily lead out for being brought into the endless processing 12.
