PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel which can perform the grinding at a high accuracy, and can be manufactured at a low cost by suppressing the deformation of the diameter according to the temperature change in the temperature atmosphere during the grinding operation to a minimum. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel comprises an inner circumferential part 30 of a base body of a first coefficient of thermal expansion which is attachably/detachably fitted to a spindle, an outer circumferential part 40 of the base body of a second coefficient of thermal expansion smaller than the first coefficient which is fitted to the outer circumference of the inner circumferential part 30 of the base body, and a grinding material 50 fitted to the outer circumference of the outer circumferential part 40 of the base body.
