PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the function of a nozzle device of a die casting machine so that a plug an smoothly flow out when molten metal is fed, the separation position of a sprue attached to the end of a product is constant, the size of the plug is constant, and no troubles occur. SOLUTION: This nozzle device is provided with a nozzle body 20 which abuts on an inlet 7a communicated with a cavity 6 of a die 5 at a tip 20a, has a discharge passage 21 to discharge the molten metal of a required quantity, and forms a plug P of the molten metal on the tip 20a side of the discharge passage 21 for each shot of feeding the molten metal. A groove 25 is formed along the circumferential direction at the position of a predetermined length from the tip of the nozzle body on the inner surface of the discharge passage 21 of the nozzle body 20. The size of the plug P is constant by allowing the sprue Sa attached to the end of the product S to be separated at the groove 25.
