<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a thread cutting device (11) in a buttonhole stitching machine using a needle thread and a bobbin thread, said thread cutter comprising freely opening and closing scissors (15) arranged for cutting off the needle thread and for holding a cut off needle thread by their closing from the opened state, and freely opening and closing scissors (52) arranged for cutting off the bobbin thread and for holding a cut off bobbin thread by their closing from the opened state. The thread cutting device (11) of the present invention further comprises solenoids (38, 72, 73) and a pulse motor (101) both arranged for driving scissors (15) for cutting off the needle thread from closed state in open state without mutual connection with the movement of a fabric feeding mechanism, and a driving mechanism comprising a solenoid (66) and a pulse motor (131), both arranged for driving scissors (52) for cutting of bobbin thread from a closed state in the open state without mutual connection with the movement of a fabric feeding mechanism.</p> |
