PURPOSE: A traveling distance measuring system for a vehicle is provided to measure the fuel efficiency accurately according to actual travel condition of the vehicle by using a trip computer. CONSTITUTION: A traveling distance measuring system for a vehicle is composed of a measured object(10) composed of an engine(12) operating by receiving fuel from a fuel tank(11); a fuel consumption measuring unit(20) measuring a flow from a fuel line from the measured object; a fuel efficiency measuring unit(30) deciding the fuel efficiency based on signals from the fuel tank, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(14) and the fuel consumption measuring unit; a display unit(40) showing the measured output of the fuel consumption measuring unit and the fuel efficiency measuring unit; and a condition change unit(60) controlling the test mode of the measured object. The fuel supply amount from the fuel tank and the actual consumption are measured at actual travel condition, and the fuel efficiency is output by the trip computer to accurately measure data on fuel efficiency and traveling distance.
