A cell such as a nonaqueous secondary cell includes a cell case (1) having an open end (4), a end cap (12) welded to the open end (4) of the cell case (1), a through terminal hole formed in the end cap (12), and a terminal (13) inserted through the terminal hole with an insulating sealer (14) filling the terminal hole so as to be fixed in the terminal hole and so as to be insulated from the end cap (12).
