PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture sheet-like ceramics. SOLUTION: The ceramic slurry in which a ceramic material, a binder and a compound containing B (boron) not taking the form of B(OH)4 <-> in a solvent having an OH group are contained does not give rise to a gelatinization reaction even if the binder having the OH group (for example, PVA) is used. Therefore, the molding of the slurry to a sheet shape is possible. In molding this slurry and sintering the molding, the sintering temperature can be lowered by the effect of B, the damage on a sintering furnace can be prevented and the cost over the entire part of process steps can be reduced. |
