PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a medical diagnostic image suitable for a medical diagnosis by using an ink jet recording method. SOLUTION: The method for forming the medical diagnostic image comprises the steps of forming the image on a medical ink jet recording material having at least one ink acceptive layer on a light permeable support, and then providing a transparent resin protective layer on the image surface.
